Tvrdoš Monastery

Trebinje · Monastery wine, tasted at the source

Tvrdoš Monastery

One of the oldest active Orthodox monasteries in the region, five kilometres west of Trebinje, where the monks have made wine for centuries under the Tvrdoš label. A tasting arranged in advance, in the cellars where Žilavka and Vranac are still vinified — the karst root of the whole crossing, poured.

Best for

Curious travellers who want a local door opened, privately.

Not for
