The Water Road — ten days following water downhill, from the Miljacka in Sarajevo through central Bosnia to the Buna at Blagaj, and back north to the airport. Four to six guests, hosted by the two of us, with local experts leading where a visit calls for one.

Ten days following water downhill — from the Miljacka in Sarajevo, through the falls at Jajce and the lamb-smoke of the Neretva, to the Buna, the cold river that rises whole from a cliff at Blagaj, the literal vrelo the house takes its name from — closing north through Konjic to a calm airport night.

East to the Drina and the Sutjeska — Perućica, one of the last primeval forests in Europe, the green bends of the river, and the high wall of Maglić.
