The Karst Spring

Vineyards, the Buna spring, the Tekke, and private tables — the karst root of the whole crossing, from the wine country behind the coast to the bridge at Mostar.

North along the Una — the river the Romans named “the one,” running clear over travertine falls at Štrbački Buk, with nights among the river islands.

The Drina & Sutjeska · Eastern Highlands

East to the Drina and the Sutjeska — Perućica, one of the last primeval forests in Europe, the green bends of the river, and the high wall of Maglić.
