Two sixteenth-century stone houses inside Dubrovnik's ramparts, kept as a handful of rooms rather than a hotel — thick walls, worn steps, and the marble Stradun a minute below. A quiet base within the walls, close to the old Franciscan apothecary and the sea gate where the route makes landfall.
