How changes, cancellations, and refunds work.

Standard reservations
Unless a property says otherwise at booking, you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival — or before the start time for tables, rituals, and experiences. The exact policy for your booking is shown on the property page and again at checkout, before you pay.
Non-refundable and special rates
Some rates or dates come at a lower price in exchange for a non-refundable or partly-refundable booking. Where that applies, it is clearly labelled before you confirm, and those terms govern.
Upstream flexibility
Upstream members can change reservation dates without a change fee, subject to availability and any rate difference. Further flexibility unlocks with repeat direct bookings, as described on the Upstream page.
How to cancel or change
Manage a reservation from your Journey Room, or contact the hosts or concierge@vrelocollection.com. Changes depend on availability, and a price difference may apply.
Refunds
Eligible refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Deposits and card holds are handled per the policy shown at booking.
If we or a property must change a booking
If a property has to cancel or materially change a confirmed booking, we will help you find an alternative or arrange a full refund of what you paid us. Where events beyond reasonable control — such as extreme weather, closures, or travel disruption — prevent a booking, we will act fairly and in line with your consumer rights under applicable law.
