Accessibility
Our approach to an accessible site and stay.
Draft · Effective 5 July 2026
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to browse, book, and travel with us, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time fix.
The website
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice that means clear structure and headings, descriptive alternative text, sufficient colour contrast, full keyboard navigation with visible focus, labelled forms, and respect for reduced-motion settings. We review the site as we build it and fix issues as we find them.
The properties
Access varies from house to house. Many are historic stone buildings with steps or uneven ground, and not all can be made step-free. Each property page notes step-free access and relevant features, and the hosts can confirm the specifics — entrances, bathrooms, transfers, and dietary needs — before you book.
Tell us
If you meet a barrier on the site, or want help planning an accessible stay, write to concierge@vrelocollection.com and we will help directly and work to put it right.
